Use Preparation H or some cucumbers to get rid of your puffiness. Sorry you were crying.

Apply a cool tap water compress to the skin under your eyes for a few minutes.
You can also use chilled cucumber slices, a refrigerated gel mask or chilled, damp tea bags.

Ice in a wet towel. If you put it over your eyes on a dry surface, it will kind of stick to your face and make the skin sore.
Be sure to shower and use eye cream before you go to bed.

Sorry to hear you were crying. Tea bags usually work the best for such eye problems. I find chamomile tea bags boiled, steeped and cooled are especially beneficial.
