Absolutely not. No one knows your body like you do and I've had docs tell me I'm full of it and they were dead wrong. I had to diagnose my own MS because my doc wouldn't listen to me and actually called me a hypochondriac! When I demanded a referral to a neurologist we found out I was right! Sometimes it SUCKS to be right! But never trust a doc 100%. Trust yourself!
Have you gotten a blood workup? Black and blue feet can actually be a sign of malnutrition especially lack of vitamins C (scurvy) and B 12. Doctors tend to down play and ignore vitamin deficiencies so try it. In people who had ecchymosis (bruising) in the lower extremities taking 500 mg of ascorbic acid (Vit C) for a week the bruising gradually disappeared. Not getting enough Vit C also affects your mouth. I'd try this before getting into expensive tests unless your insurance will cover it all.

I don't trust my doctor 100%. I don't think I even trust him 70%! lol.
Get the MRI, get the results, and then get a second opinion. Also, write down a list of your questions and do not leave the doctor's office next time until they are all answered to your satisfaction. Good luck.

That's why 2nd opinions are the standard and cannot be stressed enough!
And to answer your question, NO. I'm currently looking for a new primary care Dr. My regular Dr of 9 years has fallen out of favor with me.

I dont trust doctors...too many things are given the clear and then recalled. Just look at Paxil..that causes birht defects now.
Sadly...everyone is just in it for the money!!
Never mind that people suffer for it.

I am lucky enough to have very good doctors. They listen to me and what I want (I like to try non-drug things first) so we work together as a team. I used to have a doctor who didn't listen to my wishes so I gave him the flick and found another one! After all, it's your health and you are the customer!
