I m not sure about that but if i were you, i prefer to look for private companies rather than public companies.

you can get a copy of employment news which is the official job listing for the government and public sector firms.
it will be available at the local news paper mart

ofcourse but is better first you gain experience in your field in private company and then fill form in different department. Post your resume at monster.com,rediffjob.com,& Timesjob.com

There are many oppotunities in Govt. also. You will have to keep you eyes on the Ads and should apply on job sites.
