It is recommended to bring up your child up to atleast the age of 8-10 yrs with you where the peaceful and nurturing ambience of the home can create a very positive mentality in the child.Send him/her to boarding school before that only if it is unavoidable due to unsupportive to situations at home. But ensure ,in that case that the boarding school nurtures proper values in the child.
Even the most mischievous child can become very positive under the care of a nurturing, value driven,god-loving family.

Your question indicates your child is already in boarding school. If that's the case, is she or he thriving? Well-adjusted, happy? Is she or he acting out (back-talking teachers, fighting, using drugs/drinking, etc.)? Are you involved with his or her life - do you know what classed are being taken, what activities, do you go to games, visit on a regular basis, call often and unexpectantly? Answering these questions may be able to help you decide if this is the right enviornment for your child.

Children should live with their parents - it brings them up better, why would you not want to look after your own kids. Boarding schools have more bullies and drug problems than normal schools

Though we probably need more info to help but God intended parents to bring up their children, not teachers. Though I don't have any personal experience with boarding schools, my uncle attended one. While there he started drinking and decided he was gay at age 14. He's still "gay" and we almost lost him in January due to internal bleeding caused by drinking for the last 32 years. Not that this was caused by attending a boarding school, just tat this is the only experience I have with it.
