what is the best way to change a flood light?

The bulb changer adapter at Home Depot are flimsy and don't really grab the bulb. Are there claw type models, similar to trash pickup claws?

Go to a local electrical supplier - they may be wholesale only though and not sell retail.
Also www.grainger.com. Search light bulb changers.
They have more than you could imagine.
