You need to be REALLY CAREFUL with ANY of those types of products. The ingredients used in many of the store type brands can cause allergic reactions & seizures. I would recommend getting FRONTLINE PLUS from your vet's office. This is proven safe for dogs & cats of any age.

I've had a dog for nine years now. She'd never had a flea, and once had a tick that had bit her and never even burrowed before Frontline killed it. We lived in a high tick population and I've gotten more than my dog.

Honestly, I think Frontline is one of the best out there.

Can't help on the Walmart brand though.

No! Try Frontline Plus, Advantage, or Revolution. Those are the best.

They work for about a week, if that. Just splurge and get Advantix or Frontline from your vet, it last a lot longer.

NOOOOOO!!!! NEVER EVERY USE ANY OTHER FLEA/TICK PRODUCT OTHER THAN PRODUCTS FROM YOUR VETERINARIAN!!!! i have seen animals come in almost dead from that stuff!!! it will slowly give them brain damage, any vet will tell you to NEVER buy or use that stuff, it is a hazard!!!
