I'm just wondering if this is a cause for concern. It's not terrible. It's just slightly difficult to breath, especially when taking deep breaths and my lungs feel really "tight" is the best I can describe it.

Does anyone know what this might be or if I should be concerned?

it is because as your baby grows you loose space in side you chest because your organs get pressed to make it tight they say it is harder to breathe while laying down it should lighten up when you stand up when you go to your next apt you could ask your Dr they will tell you that is completely normal and also that is why pregnant women gets constipated because you have less space

I am 14 wks and have the same problem as you. From what I read I think it's normal. guess it's what they call it part of pregnancy and hormones.

As long as you're not sick - you haven't had a cold - that's sorta normal, but if you have been sick, be sure it's not in your lungs. Do you have asthma? Do you have a cold with a bad cough? Please take care of yourself & your baby.

It could be caused from anxiety. That is a good description of how anxiety feels physically.
