In all Casinos..it doesn't really matter what you wear as vegas has gotten very casual..and in all honesty...as long as you're pouring money in..the Casino's could care less what you wear..as long as you aren't naked making other customers leave.
Anyway, so it really depends then..if you just want to fit in with the crowd. In reality..as long as your comfortable but not in your PJs you'll be fine..most ppl who gamble, wanna be comfortable, T shirt and Jeans..or even shorts in the summer is absolutely fine in most casinos..as you'll match everyone else..of course is nicer casinos..Wynn, Bellagio..you have a lot more "ballers" ..or at least "Wannabe ballers"...and people will be all decked out in suits, and/or night life clothing..especially saturday nights...for people who are going to clubs or shows..and it's just part of the atmosphere in Vegas. You can either choose to dress up..or stay casual..it really doesn't matter. I was there last weekend for three nights. 1 night i was extremely casual, 1 night extremely formal (suit & tie)..and another night..somewhere in between (button shirt and jeans). In either case I didnt feel out of place, felt comfortable, and had a good time. The most important thing is..be comfortable, and have a good time...it's Vegas.

I lived in Vegas for almost 8 years so I think I can answer this question. That really depends on why you are at the casino. If you are just being a tourist and are walking down the strip from casino to casino I recomend whatever is cute and comfortable. Wear shoes that you can walk up to 2-3 miles in easily. That is generally acceptable for most shows and restaurants in Vegas. Remember, tourists are the norm and people go out for $200 steak dinners in jeans all the time. However dressing up is cool too, whatever.
If you are going out at night and you intend to club hop, then dress for a club. They have dress codes. Some really ritzy restaurants have a dress code to, but less often.
The casinos are full of people all dressed differently. It is common to see people in everything from jeans to formal gowns gambling at the same table. Vegas is just like that, it's hard to be out of place. Have a good time.

The beauty of the casinos in Vegas is that you can wear whatever you like (so long as it is legal). Whether during the day or night just as up or down as you want. You will also find that in general, the tolerance level is very high regardless of what you wear. You want to dress like a pirate? Go ahead! Tuxedo, vinyl, cut-off shorts? ... right on! Have fun and experiment and do what you feel.

Lisa's right on.
For wandering about, casino floors, shows, malls, attractions, most restaurants:
If you want an excuse to dress up... go for it... you're in Vegas... there's your excuse.
If you're more comfortable in jeans (or shorts) and a t-shirt, no problem whatsoever, you'll be in good company.
(If you are the sort of person who gets cold easily, bring a sweater,etc... sometimes the a/c is a bit much.)
For nightclubs, dress for a night out with these dress code guidelines in mind:
for guys: no sandals or work shoes, no shorts, no tank tops, no ripped or torn clothing, no baseball caps/do-rags or athletic wear. Jeans are okay with a collared shirt.
for girls: Dress nice, other than that wear whatever you want. Jeans and a tank top, a dress, shirt/skirt, clubwear, etc. You'll see all this and more.

Caesars is our regularly occurring position to stay in Vegas! Vegas is particularly casual by day - maximum actually everyone looks in shorts, tees, tanks, jeans, etc. Even interior the casinos, maximum actually everyone looks casual. interior the nighttime, some human beings will gown up for dinner and shows, yet you nevertheless see truly some human beings very casual, even on the nicer eating places and shows. I frequently placed on a sundress or a tremendous genuine and skirt for dinner and shows. For golf equipment, you need to be dressed up correct. women human beings must be in admired dresses and skirts, and adult men frequently can not placed on jeans, until eventually they're some truly awesome dressy jeans. Even then, they'd no longer admit him. No tennis shoes, and button-down shirts are the norm for adult men.

Act like you are going to dinner at a place that doesnt have napkin dispensers at the table.....like a Olive Garden....dress like that, and also just know that it is usually cold in casinos. I always bring a sweater or a light jacket.

You should dress casual and comfortable. Try and stay away from the trailer trash and high roller looks as you are going to win or lose the same amount of money.
