People blame him for the war? Why? You clearly didn't do your research as to why we are at war in the first place!!! I suppose the next thing that you are going to tell me is that a liberal democrat is going to make things better if elected next!!! Now that is a joke!!!

Because it furthers the liberal agenda. Some actually believe the hype; others just play along while thanking their lucky stars that neither Gore nor Kerry is commander-in-chief.

Most people couldn't tell you the name of many other government officials. Some people reading this can't name the Secretary of Defense, Secretary of treasury, or Education, et al. Bush, or any President, gets credit and blame for everything, as if he truly does indeed do everything the government does day in, day out.
In reality, a President can set policy, and to varying degrees, people of lessor known renown may or may not effectually implement that policy. But most people don't like to think that hard, to find the truly responsible party for whatever beef they have.
Quick answer: presidents make easy, lazy, targets.

By becoming president of the United States, you are basically setting yourself up to be blamed for every single thing that goes wrong in this country. it comes with the job.

Has anyone told you that reality is a cold-hearted *****?
Escaping into a fantasy world and pretending that George Bush is a kind and compassionate man doesn't really help your situation any.
I know that losing out as the party majority has you all steamed and all, but please...
You've got to come to terms with the destructive damage Bush has caused for the US's image on the international stage, and at home.
Because lying about it and pretending it never happened...can't be all THAT healthy for your personal psyche.

well.. the president always gets a lot of blame... for everything that goes right or wrong... even if he had nothing to do with it...
it's happened under every president I can remember...
and of course it's not fair... but it seems to kind of come with the job...
now... that being said... I think Bush has made some decisions that weren't very smart... so if anything, he's made his job all the harder... since people are going to blame you even if you do everything perfect... make a few mistakes and it's just going to fuel the fire...
not a lot of room for mistakes... and Bush has really taken a lot of that room...
and WHAT EXACTLY do you want us to research... no WMD made post gulf-war... very few terrorist links... also all the harriet meyers stuff... nominating people like bolton and brownie... CIA leak... attempted ports deal... not focusing on Osama... NCLB... and on and on...

Because he ignores the real problems , like the rest of congress. The new congress says they are gonna change things, but it seems they are just debating on what to debate about. If you had the power to be president would you not want to help the country and put less of a burden on our future generations,or would you want to create as much chaos and spend as much money as possible and not care about anything that has to deal with real issues, like healthcare and education, and not neglect the poor and under priviliged because they werent born with a silverspoon, or handed down a business by their parents. And not to mention all the corruption. Is this the america you want? Because that is reality, not a FOX news delusion.

Because he holds ultimate responsibility, and ultimately he is responsible.
edit: that's fair enough, he hasn't messed up everything. He probably has some good intentions. But how can you trust him when he's turned his back on so many promises?

Because we were better off before he was elected, or maybe he wasted a budget surplus on a war which I don't believe is anything more than a personal vendetta on his daddy's behalf....

Because the liberals find it much easier than blaming themselves and they know that if they say Bush did something their followers will believe them, no matter what it is.
