My best friend (for a few years) and I have recently fallen head over heels for each other - we were not expecting this at all - we truly care and adore each other but we decided that right now is not a good time in our lives to have that serious relationships we long from each other. We're getting older and realizing that as young adults we need to build our own foundations FIRST before jumping into selfish desires.

Any stories are inspirational words??? or actually, movies that show love being stronger the second time? and do YOU believe that love is stronger and better the second time around?

It sure is if you want and choose for it to be. For me the third time around was the best. Take your time and date for a while and do not rush things. Have fun and get to know one another really well before getting serious. Over time you will know if it grows stronger and gets better with time or not. You are right build your foundations first. This is a very mature decision. Good luck to the both of you and i wish you the best and hope that down the road you are the one for each other:) I know that this time is the best time to and for me in my life and i can certainly relate to this and what you are feeling. I have been there:) Hugs to you both today. Great question by the way.

ok, first of all you are an idiot for wanting your situation to be compared to some movies, if you want a movie story fairy tale ending then here it is, A BIG BAD AZZ DRAGON WILL SWOOP DOWN FROM THE SKY AND BURN YOU TO DEATH WITH HIS FIRE BREATH

go figure, movies that would be inspirational and show you an example of real life

you want real life then here it is, IF YOU ARE OLD ENOUGH TO BE IN A RELATIONSHIP THEN DON'T LET THE OPORTUNITY PASS YOU UP, IF YOU HAVE A GOOD THING THEN GRAB ON TIGHT WITH BOTH HANDS AND NEVER LET GO, YOU MAY NOT GET A SECOND CHANCE OR OPORTUNITY FOR THE HAPPINESS THAT IS OFFERED

thats real life, if you have a chance for something now, then why risk loosing it by waiting for IF you can have it later, you may hold of for a few years and she may find someone else, or you may find someone else, or she may die, or you may die, do not ever sit in the future cold and crying and the only words to escape your lips are WHAT IF

Sounds to me like you and your friend both are equally retarded or you wouldn't think the way you do about it. Love endures all things, if you love each other than your lives can only be made better by surrendering yourselves to each other. To say you've got to do this and that before it would be the right time, is the stupidest idea in the world. Love doesn't happen when it's "convenient", you either go for it or you don't. Don't expect it to be there for you when you're finally ready for it.

Love can be stronger the second time around.
Usually by then you have learned from your mistakes
and have become more mature and wiser.
