It has contributed obesity and diabetes. It doesn't need to be banned. If someone was smart they'd make a healthy fast food drive thru chain with organic fruit and vege dishes, grass fed hormone/antibiotic free meat, no chemicals or preservatives, serve it in unbleached non plastic recycled paper wrappers/containers.

The info about how unhealthy fast food is is available but most people don't want to know the truth.

About the only thing going for fast food companies are the minimum wage jobs they offer to the un-trained workforce. They do not offer any sustainable training either. The sad truth behind the entire movement is that it is for money. It is not about friendly feeding or service. It is all about the money in your pocket. McDs exploits children for your money through toys and playland. Playland was McDs way of competing w/ Disney for profits brought by children. And now our children are fat, our workers are untrained and our neighborhood corners are taken up with neon signs and stripe-suited clowns.

Should fast food be banned? No, but I'm not against some sort of regulation of this movement.
