honestly speaking...india has a great chance to reach the semis....coz the current team is a perfect blend of offence and defense...robin uthappa has proved himself as a gr8 opener...along with viru or saurav ganguly....i think sachin shud open the innings against weaker sides first...get his confidence back...no doubt abt rahul dravid...yuvraj played well recently...bowlers r doin a gr8 job...zak rocks....sreesanth has a killer instinct....
now talking abt competition...australia ,nz and sa are the toughest opponents....i dnt worry abt pak as indians hav a gr8 wc record against them.....so india can even win the cup if they stick 2 the basics and display professionalism .....they will hav 2 concentrate more on the fielding angle of the game.....
so men in blue.....rock the world!!!!!

Just take a look at the batting lineup.
With
1. Ganguly.
2. Uthapa.
3. Sehwag.
4. Tendulkar.
5. Dravid.
6. Yuvraj.

and then with in the bowlers list
Pathan
kumble
M patel
Harbhajan
Zaheer
Agarkar
Sreesanth in the squad + also with sachin, ganguly (90% sure) playing their last WORLD CUP (These two r the best 2 ODI batsman, India have ever produced, they would love to finish it in glory)
These few reasons makes me really hard to think that India wouldnt reach to the Semis

Undoubtedly India will reach the semifinals. India is surely among the favourites. India has the the best batting line-up which includes Sachin, Sourav, Dravid and Yuvraj. The Indian bowling attack has done well in the previous matches. India have a blasting wicket - keeper batsmen-Dhoni. The indian duo of Sachin, Sourav and Dravid have scored around 35,000 runs in one day cricket. The australian coach Chapple will also help india.

If Indian players play to their potential consistently with lot of application, dedication, fighting spirit and determination, India can not only reach the semi finls, but also can win the world cup.

Yes I think India should reach semi finals.Because recently India have toured westindies and they are well aware of the conditions.Also most of the tracks will be slower so our spinners will come to play and also our batsman who are most capable of handling such slower track situations.Indian confidence is on high after defeating westindies and sri lanka comprehensively.

greg made us 'great'
sourav's boys made a fantastic reach to the finals previously
now dravid can make it
he had a lot of confidence guiding the whole team!

Indians always play well in their own country but when they r away,they **** in their pants.I am Skeptical abt it,but who knows,they might give me a pleasant surprise.
