America did not always "stick its nose" into other countries business. We used to stay as far away as we could from interaction with the rest of the world.

That's not possible anymore. Its a global economy and America is a major player whether you like it or not. Besides isolationism never worked in the past. I.E. WW1 & WWII

Then we [Americans] might have less taxes and far less peoples that hate us. Not too bad of an idea... ;) Although, Canada is that already and we here in the U.S. consider them as "America Junior".

Not a chance. I'm all for the U.S. pulling out of all international affairs. We should maintain ties with Canada, Japan, U.K., Australia & Germany. The rest of the world would completely fall apart without us. Good riddence to all the freeloaders. Sink or swim suckers.

if they did, then the americans would never have heard about afghanistan, iraq(pronounced as ee-raq not i-raq), saddam etc..on the plus side, the rest of the world wouldn't have to hear about bush
