I saw both of these injuries on Sportscenter. By far it had to be Shaun Livingston's injury. TJ's wasn't really bad, he has recovered after Garnett injured him. So TJ is doing well with the Raptors and hasn't really affected him since. As for Shaun, that was just so painful to watch, MY GOD. That was one of the nastiest injuries I have seen. He tore about 3 ligaments and his knee cap nearly popped out. This is a really career ending injury for him. I just hope he can come back in a few seasons, this kid had a bright future. It's weird that one day you're one of the brightest and upcoming stars. And the next you're forced to think about retirement. Good luck to Shaun, that was painful!

Would you like to have your knee snapped in half or land on the ground hard and you can't move? The most painful is probably the knee because I have tore an ACL myself(it wasn't nearly as bad as Livingstons injury) because if you do damage your spinal cord you wont feel it. But the Spinal Cord injury probably could have the most disastrous outcomes as TJ Ford could have been paralyzed and may have to have been a wheelchair for the rest of his life. So the way it looks probably Livingstons was worse, but the outcomes that coulda happened on Fords injury is much worse

I'd have to go with Shaun Livingston, TJ Ford is back and playing pretty decently for the Raptors. Shaun's injury is going to take between 8 and 12 months at the least to heal. He dislocated his kneecap, tore his MCL, ACL, PCL and miniscous, so he tore 4 out of the 5 ligaments that hold your knee together. It's not even certain that he'll ever really be able to come back from an injury like this. They don't even know if they can even fix all this with just one surgery so it's most likely going to take multiple surgeries to repair everything, I wouldn't be surprised if he was never able to play in the NBA again.

Spinal chord cause he crashed entirely to the ground on his back and couldn't get up. But Livingston's was really horrible to.

i think shaun's career is DONE..no way you can fully come back from that. he can attempt to make a comeback but he will never be the same. He's never played a whole season due to injuries so it makes it even harder to make that comeback.
