I'm Looking at the Parker guitars. I have heard huge praise from everyone who plays them and heard they are great for any kind of music and sound awesome.

On the other hand, I have also looked at the Schecter guitars but really don't know anything about the handling of them and have never played with the different models so some suggestions would be great

Any other suggestions are great. No I don't want crappy guitars. Nor do I want another gibson or fender. Also am not interested in any guitar by the following:
Hamer
B.C. Rich
Ovation
Taylor
Gretsh
ESP
Yamaha
Or any other ripoff brands.

Thanks. And yes, I'm specific and i'm a tone whore.

I have tried one Fly Mojo briefly and thought it was.. I dunno, soulless. Like a perfect 3D animation of a girl, everything is there but too perfect and thus dead. Slick neck, though. Schecter is a ripoff brand in my book. Too much into cosmetics.
I have a Carvin DC 747 & am one happy camper but will be even happier when I install DiMarzios. Done my share of Gibsons and Fenders, don't care about them. My primary is still my faithful Ibanez RG 550 with N & B Evolutions & Mid Fast Track. I guess I had to buy all those guitars to realize that Methey, Vai, Satriani, Gilbert and Benson know why they play Ibanez. Learn form my mistake, or throw your money around...
Between Parker and Schecter, Parker is a no-brainer.

I haven't played any Schecter guitars, but I heard they are great. You may want to check into the PRS SE series guitars. They are relatively inexpensive, but very good quality guitars. You can get them with either humbuckers or soap bar single coil pickups. They even have a couple signature series SE guitars from Santana and the guitarist from Creed. You said you don't want another Fender or Gibson, but you may want to check into G&L guitars. They are made by the original founders of Fender, and they have some great guitars (many with ash or alder bodies) that sound great and have a good feel. Hope you find what suits you. Everyone is different in what they look for in a guitar. I myself prefer the Strat, but there are other guitars that I like as well for different reasons. Happy guitar hunting!
