A.A. is world wide,you get people together that have drinking problems that sincerely want to stop drinking Alcohol.The are called A.A. Meetings.There's what you call a Big Book to go by
at Meetings.Someone is in charge of each Meeting.That's way there's some control.The only remedy is one day at a time, you do not drink alcohol.You get with people who have the same goal.
