can i take out a 1995 chevey camaro engine,and put it on a 1995 dodge intrepid body?

the engine in the dodge as a blown head gasket

Anything is possible with enough money. But practically speaking, no. It would cost you way more than the Intrepid is worth. Besides, an Intrepid is front-wheel drive, and never came with a V8. Very few front-wheel drive V8s were ever made, because the engine is so big the cars had to be big as well. The Oldsmobile Toronado is one example. The Chevy motor would probably not fit without an incredible amount of fabrication. A lot of hot rodders put Chevy motors in Fords, and there has been a lot of cross-breeding of other cars and engines over the years. One of the fastest cars around was a Sunbeam Tiger, a British sports car with a Ford V8. Maxwell Smart drove one.

I can be done but not worth all the trouble to adapt everything you need .first new motor and trans mounts,next custom exhaust,then custom connections throttle,fuel,radiator,and so much more..even custom built drive shaft

if you are asking if the engine mounts and tranny bolt pattern is the same, the answer is no. You would have to make more mods then its worth to make the swap.

You can put tractor in a snail shell if you want to......but why? Kinda the same thing...I am sure that you could if you really really wanted to....but why would you want to?
