Cheap tickets from where? If flying Southwest flys to Midway and routienly offers great fares. Another great benifit for Chicago is the new low cost regional bus system called megabus.com which provides fast service to many midwestern cities with really nice buses and for super low fares! Amtrak also has a major hub in Chicago.

If it is last minute you can try site59.com. If you have time United and American always have special weekend fares and depending on where you are coming Chicago may be an alternative. Southwest also has those specials too. Southwest though flies into Midway not O'hare.

well when i look for plane tickets i use farecast.com its a great site to search for the cheapest flights and it tells you when it thinks prices are going to drop and when they are going to go up. For the hotels hotwire always sends me great deals on hotels so i would look there. Good luck.

in case you wait until the third inning you will get extra fee-effective tickets, yet i'm uncertain how lots extra fee-effective. it fairly is how my boyfriend rolls (and we live here). i might bypass to Murphy's bleachers, have some beverages until now the sport, get a warm canine or sausage there, then wait until the third inning. you would be waiting to experience what the ambience is like, then head returned to the place the scalpers are and consider out to get discounted tickets. good success.
