I'll give you three.

"The Raven" is probably everyone's favorite. It's long and spooky.

"Annabel Lee" is a love poem. Since Edgar met and fell in love with his future wife (and cousin) when she was a young child, ("I was a child and she was a child") many suggest he was a pedophile. She died before he did, and the poem was published after his death.

I was first turned on to "The Bells" when I heard Phil Ochs (a 1960s folk singer) put it to music. It's a very lively work, and it refers to different kinds of bells--sleigh bells, wedding bells, alarm bells, tolling bells.

My well-known Poe short tale is The Pit and the Pendulum, because it became thrilling to be how people react at the same time as they could actually do no longer some thing yet look ahead to death, and how wish is continually there, even interior the face of dad Time, or the bleak reaper. "and then there stole into my fancy, like a wealthy musical observe, the concept-about what sweet relax there must be interior the grave." I also reallllly loved The tell-tale heart, it entertained me to no end. The previous guy and his weird and wonderful eye type of creeped me out, notwithstanding the way the assassin were given the former guy to trust him in touch me. Quote: "i became not at all kinder to the former guy than in the course of the entire week earlier I killed him." How ironic. My well-known poem of his is The Raven, and that i actually loved, The mask of the pink death besides, alongside with the autumn of the residing house of Usher. I observed Usher done in a play at the same time as i became in grade college, which began my interest in Mr. Poe. My well-known quote of his era is "confident myself, I search for no longer to cajole," from Berniece.

I'd say The Raven and Anabell Lee. Both are about the death of his wife.
