Pujols or Soriano, depends on wether or not you need to be competitive in SBs. Soriano will get you maybe 50 Stolen bases this year, 50/50 possible? 40/40 Definite. Soriano's BA is not that great though. But his numbers are great for his BA. Pujols, great slugging numbers, but single digit SBs. Being a NYY fan, I would disagree with anyone who says to take A-Rod, he's a great player, but wasn't even the best hitter on the Yankees last year. Jeter had more Runs, hits, doubles, triples, higher BA, twice the SBs, less strike outs.

Why the hell would you pick Jeter as the first overal pick? He's not a big fantasy guy. You need to get Ryan Howard or Albert Pulojes. You need the big fantasy numbers. Maybe Santana but I would get big Al.

if i were you I'd draft a short depth position like Reyes at SS. If you love Jeter you might get luck and have him drop to the end of the second round if you're willing to take that chance.

You just need to decide if you want to go for speed, power, or pitching. You can usually get decent pitching no matter what if you're smart but speed helps youre OBP% Runs, and Hits and power helps your SLG% HR, RBI

1st pick Albert! If hes gone when it gets to you go for santana, then reyes, howard or if you get stuck late in the first round get utley.... but not jeter he's good but overrated....

Personally, I wouldn't draft Pujols. Why? Because 1st basemen is a position with good depth to it. I would rather secure a weaker position like second base or shortstop.

That being said, Pujols is a beast if you take him.
