As with every other race, their are hard working African American people and lazy African American people. But it seems the image of blacks that it most portrayed by the media is the lazy black person, while there are plenty of educated, hardworking, well-paid blacks going unnoticed. Mnay, (not all) Mexicans do a lot of general labor because they lack the proper paperwork of citizenship to do anything else, so people see them as hard working.

Well, look around you. Who do you see doing all the hard manual labor jobs? The vast majority are hispanic. Why you ask? Because employers know they work hard, don't complain much and will work for cheap wages.
You rarely see blacks doing those types of jobs. Not because they can't, but because they simply won't.
Sure there exceptions to the rule, but use your head and look around. It's pretty obvious who the workers are and who the lazy people are.

Many Mexicans (and their families) struggled, risked they're lives WALKING accross the desert just to get to the United States. Just to have one of those jobs no one else wanted-digging ditches, landscaping, others. Blacks have had their chance to prove themselves here a hundred years. They came up north from the south, ruined nice neighborhoods in big beautiful cities, ruined the schools. The only way blacks have gotten ahead was by leaching into peoples lives. The best money idea they ever came up with was SHARING THE WEALTH. Their way does'nt work

its all stereotypes or what not. I'm black and my whole family works just as hard as any white or mexican family or whatever. There are some blacks (just like any other race) who don't work hard. Unfortunately a lot of other races (I'm sorry to generalize like this but I have to.) see a few black people and think the entire race acts that way.

It is just a stereotype. If BLACKS were lazy the White man would NOT GO AFRICA and steal Blacks to do their labor jobs for them. Now who is the lazy one?. And, Mexicans ARE NOT hard working, because if they were they WOULD WORK HARD to make their economy better and create more jobs for their people so they don't have to jump over a fence for a better job in the U.S.
GET YOUR FACTS TOGETHER.

properly placed. Adoption is basically oh so complicated for each guy or woman in touch and it rather is emotionally charged. maximum persons in this internet site are no longer "black" and "white. " they are passionate. people from each and every perspective experience brushed off, i think of, while they experience somebody is making an attempt to talk for them, or while somebody makes great generalizations approximately finished communities. while people experience brushed off they generally attack and this comes in the time of as "black and white." it variety of sounds like people have been rather attempting of previous by using "comprehend" distinctive viewpoints. yet there'll consistently be people who're basically bored and stir issues up by skill of deleating questions (kumbaya?) and asking loaded questions. accepted, nevertheless, there have been some rather thrilling questions and solutions of previous due.

Now why would the Europeans have wasted their time bringing a race of lazy whiners to the New World?
...hmm...something doesn't fit here.
We all know who the real lazy people were/are.

blackdowg's answer doesn't make sense. I'm not saying white people are lazy but they did bring black people to do the work for them, You just said it yourself! I didn't say it.

From my experience, this is true most of the time. Then again, I live in Montana. It is no harder for a black person to get a job than anyone else, that is just a excuse.

Its the Jessie Jackson mentality to get what you can from govenment services for nothing and no work effort.
If you want to be poor and ignorant, then teach your kids the welfare system, food stamps, and free housing and how to obtain that all, Generation after generation.
Not very many Mexicans in Jail either. Seems they have come here and work and drive really nice suv's and trucks.
