I assume that uae means the United Arab Emirates.

The United Arab Emirates has a greater distance from the United States (almost directly westward) than from Australia (southeastward, passing India and Indonesia). One has to cross the Atlantic Ocean and northern Africa to get from the United Arab Emirates to North America and the United States.

Why don't you go simply to Google earth?!
go over there, and click on Aus once and connect it through the hmmm ( I don't remember, it's one of the options over there, finding the distance or meter something like that) to UAE. and next time do the same with U.S.
hey by the way I live in UAE!

It is USA which has the more distance to UAE because you have to cross through only 13 time zones if you are in Australia whereas from USA you have to cross 15 time zones.
