She likes me as a friend. When I'm around her I feel happy, calm, and joyful. How should I get her to like me?

You're in 7th GRADE!!!

That means stop worrying about love, be a kid and just enjoy her as a friend to hand out with and have a good time as kids.

Ok wait, you're not by any chance her teacher, are you?

If you're not her teacher, then I guess you should go for it
Just keep in mind that girls usually make up their minds pretty soon after meeting a person what their relationship will be to that person. If she's already decided that you are to be her friend and nothing more, then you should probably focus your efforts somewhere else.

Besides, and I know you don't want to hear this, You're way too young to even be thinking about the "L" word seriously.

Your too young mate, enjoy her company and be friends and maybe later in life (when you get older) you could try something else like dating. If you think your serious though, just be yourself and talk to her and her friends don't be a staranger to her or her friends friends are 50% of her opinion at her age,
but good luck with whatever choice you make

Just enjoy the moment. Enjoy the friendship. Let yourself grow up a little more. She likes you already. Be yourself and learn to be a good friend. This will help you be a very confident person which girls can't resist.

Leave it as friendsdhip. Love is for later. Trust me, there are too many other girls to sort out before love comes along. I found out the hard way. Four wives later I finally got it together.

I know that right now you have trouble thinking of anything else but her... Right now, no matter what anyone tells you.... you know you are in love, you have never felt this way before.... so all you can do with that, is take that feeling and learn from it... ask her for her phone number.... if you are friends.... she wont have a problem giving it to you.... take it one step at a time.

Don't overwhelm her. At least you are friends and if you come on too strong you won't have that. Relax around her and she might feel good being around you too. Friends is good so take it easy and if she is interested in the next level, she will let you know.

Quit talking about love. You are only in the 7th grade, you have no clue what love is.

How about carrying some Hershey Kisses to school every day and give her one at lunch? Maybe she will get the hint. After a couple of weeks you can ask her if she likes your "kisses". See if she will flirt back.
