Hello. I am a 36 year old trying to conceive. I do BBT charting and use ovulation predictor kits to follow my cycle. Today is cycle day 33, 13 days post ovulation. My husband and I were initmate a few days before and day of ovulation (ovulation estimated at CD 20 by OPK and temp spike on BBT chart). My luteal phase ranges from 12-14 days. Yesterday I had mild menstrual type cramps but no flow. Today, as 13 days past ovulation, I had some pink to red spotting a few times, but then it stops for a few hours.I had terrible menstrual cramps, too. I have never spotted before. Normally my period comes on full force. My temp was still high this morning at 98.2 F, which is above my BBT coverline. Now my cramps are gone and the spotting seems to have stopped. Could this be a peri-menopause thing or could this be late implantation? HPT are negative, but I know it takes a few days for HCG to rise after implantation. I will restest in a few days if regular menstruation doesn't resume. Any thoughts?

there are many posssibelities
1st when a fertilized gee tries to implant on the wall of utreus a pain is experienced
2nd the presence of mild spot is reported in the first month of pregnany, but still the featus go well and develops into a healthy baby
3rd there is a posibelity that the fertilized egg is no loger abel to hold in uterus for further growth
if its almost 40-50 days from the period started
you can check for pregnancy by home pregnancy kit, and should also visit to a nice doctor
dont worry things will be fine dont giveup
all the best

Personally I think you are still too young for menopause and it sounds like implantation cramping to me especially with the light pink spotting that has not stopped with you temp still being up. I would wait a few days and test again. Remember that Hcg doubles in your system every 2.2 days. Good Luck!!

Sounds like implantation bleeding.. and being that your temp is still high thats a good sign too....I dont think its peri-menopause...sounds like a pregnancy! Good Luck!

I wouldn't want to get your hopes up, but it sounds promising. Especially since your BBT is still higher than usual. Good Luck!
