Even though A&M lost, Acie Law was incredible.

I sure hope so. I am in a unique position here, I went to A&M for my undergrad degree and am getting a graduate degree now at UT. Watching them play tonight from a *relatively* neutral perspective let me stop being a fanboy and really watch everyone's game.

Law was incredible tonight, not just from his stats, but from when they showed up. I usually don't believe in the "clutch factor", but why wouldn't you respect someone who the coaches feel they need to get the ball at the end of a game? I was actually surprised each time Law missed a shot, and that says something.

I think Law has been a hot player for a while now, but big-ticket games like this can only help his stock.

I feel there is a strong public bias towards A&M in general. It seemed like the refs did everything they could to hand the game to UT with picky fouls, and Acie Law just kept pulling of the impossible. A 3 pointer over a much taller Durant at the buzzer, and another to send it into double overtime! Unfortunately, the top story will be Durant again. Dont get me wrong, the kid is amazing. But what Acie Law has been doing for A&M is ridiculous.

Of course. Even though they lost, Acie Law still prolonged the evening TWICE due to him sinking two threes. One at the end of regulation, and one with 30 seconds left to tie it up 88-88. This game was very exciting to watch. I was amazed at the performance he put up tonight. It made me question the race for player of the year. He put up more points than Durant. I am a KU fan and hated Acie Law when he lead the Aggies past the Jayhawks. But when he played Texas tonight, I was in awe. Durant will still probably get the headline, which isn't too fair, but Acie Law did very well.

I go to UT, but man I have mad respect for this guy. He was incredible. He will make a great point guard in the NBA. The guy has to be a top 10 pick, I hope he is.
