The Tax Exemptions are the same for both sexes. I'm wondering if you could please clarify your question more because there is no difference in the exemptions for sexes or even dependents.

Dear Cork and eludesm,
In India the Income tax exemption limit is Rs hundred thousand and for men and Rs.135 thousand for the women. They have been increased by Rs.10 thousand each for the next financial year in the recent budget

They are done, may be because the politicians can get their votes. But totally a misconcept. Because no of self employed tax paying ladies form a miniscule percentage of Indian voters.

If ladies earn more than a gent it is very much great in India.
and also gents says that ladies are not equal to gents. May be
because of these two reasons they gave more exemption for
ladies
