All of it is outdoors in the Blue Mountains, they don't put the mountains indoors. There are some great climbs of different levels of difficulty. You should contact a rock climbing club or talk to the people in one of the outfitters like Paddy Palins.

I am not sure of the name of the rocks you can climb but there are many of them. The Blue Mountains are absolutely beautiful. Just bare in mind that many people have gotten themselve lost in the mountains. If you get the opportunity do it. I did it many years ago and love it......I only lived about an hour from there and it was great to go to.

Becareful,
you will have to be a pro to rockclimb in the blue mountains,
as even true ozzies have gotten,lost in there, and recently a boy has died in there,
but otherwise, the guides will show you, the non-restricted parts.
