They say their affiliated with my job, 7-11, but i don't know if they may try to get over on me. I supposedly got accepted to thier accounting program and the start date is April 8th, can someone find out before i make a big mistake and let me know?

If you Google CTU you will find two listed. Colorado Technical University is listed as a 'rip-off'. As a rule of thumb, beware of any organization that offers 'short cuts'. Colleges and Universities have to be accredited by a recognized board. See what credentials the school has and then check out the Accrediting Agency. They are normally linked to other recognized agencies.

The Government publishes a list of recognized institutions of higher learning. You might be able to access it through MOE.

My son goes to CTU, but not online. He has been going for 9 months, and says that it is the real deal. Check it out at CTU.com or call (719) 595-0200. That is the campus in Pueblo, CO

Yes, it is a real school. I worked there. The office is based in Chicago and is owned by Career Education Corp. It is very good. Even though I don't work there any longer, I am finishing my bachelors there.
