to my master 120 gig drive, only problem is that I cant find my partitioning software cd to format it into only one partition. The disk has an hp recovery partition taking up about 5 gigs.

What is the easiest way to format it and just have one, I know I could run my windows xp and do it without harming the operating system on the master but is there an easier way?

You can right click on my computer then click modify it should bring up computer management and then you can click on disk management and access all partition and allow you to format the desired partition as long it is not the partition on which windows resides.
