I have a computer that has been working fine for about a year, then today, out of the blue, my usb mouse, lan, and other usb ports stopped working. I tried restarting, with no avail. I also tried replugging in the mouse, it has a blue LED on it, which does light up, but the infared does not come on, i also tried using a ps/2 mouse which also didnt work. The only i/o port that seems to work is the keyboard which is a ps/2. what could be wrong?

ok, so weirdest thing happened, i still can't use my usb devices EXCEPT for one device, I have an external hard drive that is usb and it works fine. Also, my mouse seems like it tries to start (the infared flickers every once in a while) and when i try to use the printer (also usb) its starts up, but then it says print job failed. it seems like loose connections but yet i have them plugged in all the way.

ok, so another weird thing, i can use the scroll wheel on my mouse and i can click things too. I just cant move it. its really weird
