i just was bored and set a .gif file as my background wallpaper. then i changed it from 'tile' to 'stretch' to fill up the whole screen. will this mess up my computer? will it slow it down a lot if i leave it on to long, like a whole night?

basically, are there any bad side effects of setting a .gif file as your wallpaper?

Absolutely none. Only that a .gif stretched out might look ugly.

it requires alot of cpu usage, so it may slow your pc down. Other than that there will be no effects.
