I just wanted to get input from someone who has taken it or knows more about it.

Plan B should be taken within 3 days (72 hours) of unprotected sex and can reduce the risk of pregnancy by up to 89%. But the sooner you take it the more effective it will be.

I have personally taken Plan B twice. Both time were because I forgot to take my birth control pill. I had no problems or side effects taking it and I have no children, so it worked for me! Good luck!

If taken exactly as directed within the allotted amount of time, it is about 80% effective. This number can go up slightly depending on how soon after unprotected sex it is taken.

It is not 100% effective..but it works only 24 to 36 hours after you have had unprotected sex. and if you throw up after taking it you have to take another dose.
