For the first poster: RPG: Role Playing Games. Basically an RPG is a game where you start out at a low level and as you kill monsters, you get experience points, and as you reach a certain level of experience, you level up.

PC: if you don't mind paying 15 bucks a month: World of Warcraft, but otherwise, there's Oblivion, Dark Messiah of Might and Magic. Betrayal at Krondor (really old game, but it's free to download).

The Elder Scrolls Is the best!!! It will keep you addicted for a very long time!! Its great and there isn't going to be another game as good for a very long time. Oh and, final Fantasy sucks. Unless you like turn based games... Which also suck according to my opinions, But even the "turn based only gamers" have said oblivion is great and it isn't turn based!!! YAY I want to play it right now...

Final Fantasy XII. Best. Game. Ever.
Oblivion is all flash and little substance. IMHO they spent too much time trying to figure out how to make the game world as realistic as possible and completely forgot to make the actual gameplay engaging.

NOT RUNESCAPE. anyways, try maplestory its borin at first but once you make some friends and get to lvl 20 things start to speed up. very fun. if you are willing to pay definently world of warcraft.
