ok this is what happenes, when i do stuff for myself i have no problem but when i do stuff for other people (especially stuff i dont do often) i worry really bad, and over little things. i was taught how to do stuff, by my folks pointing at somthing and saying "get it done" and i would figure it out myself (i live on a farm, so i had a wide range of skills i have acquired) im still a teen. and for an example returning parts, i hate doing it cause i worry about stuff like that--once i get in the middle of things it isnt a problem and is kinda fun. i really dont like responsibilty either, if i am alone and no one is looking stuff is fine, but when there is a crowd, deadlines or other people property is on the line i worry a lot. how can i get over this??

Take a deep breath, hold for 3 seconds and release

Just think that even if you make a mistake, haven is not going to fall. It is still just a small mistake, which you have the courage and intelligence to correct.

If you still feel jittery, just remember the last few things that you have done correctly and was praised for.

something I was told along time ago when I worried myself sick over certain things.. DON'T SWEAT THE SMALL STUFF. That came from someone I looked up to the most at the time. That person even sent me a bouquet of flowers to let me know not to worry about it. It wasn't something I did myself though.. Shoot it was like 15 years ago.. I did alot of worring about bill and money all the time.. I'm a perfectionist at that sort of thing. Well, my bank lost my husband deposit. "first and last time I ever put a check in the night deposit" anyway... I paid someone and the check didn't go through... I was humiliated. I called them and they said not to sweat it... that was a wow...
from that day on I didn't worry so much.. If someone if his authority could disregard something I thought was the end of the world then I was doing good.
the only thing that still gets me now is if I know I have family or friends coming over. no matter how clean the house is I still have to run around crazy making sure it is really clean.
I gaurantee you no one else is worring about it.

Your hurting yourself for nothing.. Worring can cause ulsers and all sorts of health problems. It's not worth it.. I promise.
SMILE it's gonna be alright...
DON'T WORRY BE HAPPY! LOL

How long have you had this issue? Has it come on recently, or is it a prolonged experience? If you've had this going on for say more than 3 months, I'd see a doctor. If you have an anxiety disorder, you may be able to improve through behaviorial therapy, which will teach you techniques for dealing with your stress effectively.

Responsibilty is a good thing and you'll be well respected for it. It won't cause you health problems til later in life but you'll learn your limitations by then. Go slow and lower your expectations of others who don't have your values.
