Lots of work. Give baths to the patients, take them to the bathroom, take them out of bed, groom them, get them ready for breakfast, make beds, clean urinals and bedpans, get patients ready for lunch, take them to the recreation or rehabilitation areas, feed them, report changes in their condition to the nurse in charge... it is a heavy shift but very rewarding since you get to interact with the patients a lot.

Cheers,

They get the residents up from bed that the 3rd shift didn't get up. take them to breakfst, start making beds and start baths and you have to get them ready for lunch and finsh baths and vitals and you finish beds and put some residents down for the afternoon and you take the rest to the lounge area and you do bed checks on the one that are bed ridden and you pass snacks and you also have to do your charts and you must clean up after any of them that have soiled themselves or what ever mess they make but it is worth it when one or two of them become as close as family.
