They are just preparing for the day I go back to church. I swear Lightning will strike & the building will go to pieces! The lightning rod is just to channel it so that the church has a half a chance of still being erect when lightning strikes me cause I went to church!
That's my story & I am stickin to it!

Because they were/are normally the highest buildings in the area and to prevent them from burning down as they were struck by lightning, tata! the holy people decided to opt for the modern technology. If you want to call it lack of faith, thats fine, I call it purely logical!

no its so the church wont burn down, its ignorant to say lack of faith, the church I attend just built a 5 million dollar sanctuary there better be safety measures in place, also insurance requires it and building codes im pretty sure
