The war with Iraq or the Election of GWB?

2007-02-28 15:38:32 · update #1

Hmm....You see...pretty much nobody answered with anything except negativeness toward liberals, communists, or anything else they didn't agree with....The question was..if you HAD TO.....in other words one or the other, NO choice about it. So, it seems that I can be somewhat sure now that republican are very much the negative doom and gloom people.....judging by the responses. Thank you!

Do you mean remove a specific WAR from the history books themselves, or remove a specific WAR from history itself?

Well if it's just from the "history books", then I say remove nothing because you can't change the past just by deleating what's in books, you learn from it.

If I was going to "remove a war from history itself" then removing it would only make things worse because the war didn't just start, it was caused by something, which means that thing that caused it would still be around so I still say remove nothing.

BUT, of course I would remove all the wars from history itself if I could remove everything else with it that made it happen like killing the Jews in WW2 and bombing Pearl Habor and the list goes on for like forever unfortunately...

That's silly. You assume we would like to, or have to, remove either. Plus you must remember, we are not the history revisionists here. Removing an event from the history books does not remove the incident from history. But, since you opened up the possibility, I would remove liberals and socialists from history.

I think Republicans want things kept in the history books. It's the Democrats who are editing history to the point where history books are a farce these days.

Republicans don't alter history - just look at the past Presidents who were Republicans. It might be something liberals would do, to teach our kids in school about homosexuality and gay marriages.

the war with the confederacy,it was the brand new republican party that freed the slaves but the democrats as usual take the credit for things they cant do

Neither, thanks. No matter how things turn out in the U.S., or for us, we will never be absent History.
