The Republican party is the party of the rich and makes laws that favor corporations and the elite. The extra money they make is supposedly going to trickle down to the rest of us due the their expenditures and investments. Republicans usually lower taxes (for the wealthy), increase the military, and have little use for social programs. They have built their base in the poorer sector on Religion. They have a sink or swim attitude toward the populace. If you are down and out when the Republicans take over, you are apt to have to work several jobs until the Democrats get back in office.
The Democratic party is more representative of the ordinary citizen, the middle class and the poor. They are also known as the progressive party. Laws created by Dems would be to benefit the workers. They tend toward giving people a safety net in life. They are likely to raise taxes and stop corporate welfare.
They tend to give more power to the people to make their own decisions.
Now that both parties are in debt to corporations for their election funds, I am not sure that there is much of a real difference between the two.

Well, a Publican is someone who owns or operates a Pub. So a RE publican must be someone who once owned or operated a Pub, left or lost it, and now owns or operates one again.
A Democrat is someone who thinks the poor and lazy are entitled to the wealth of the working class.

A republican is someone who solves problems to important issues. A democrat is someone who goes around making problems.

a Republican has strong loyalty to Royalty
like king Bush II
a Democrat is an academic, social, atheist, who has no real leader... every man leads thereby no one leads.
Democrats love to stall things in committees
Republicans are more impulsive and thoughtless
they go more by their gut instincts
