I get my nails doneat a nail salon, and on the price list on the wall one of the options is Pink & Whites. I asked around but haven't been given an actual answer to what this means. And is it better than using regular acrylic?

Pink and white is really called solar nail. They are supposed to stay on longer than other acrylic nails. I have had both and the solar nail does stand up better and longer. They do cost a bit more.

A pink and white is an acrylic set with a french manicure, but instead of painting the tip white with polish or air brush, the actual tip that is placed on the nail is white. This makes it last much longer because you don't have to get the white tips redone and it looks more natural.

It sounds like just a regular french manicure to me. With pink nails and white tips.

I thought pink and white were regular acrylic's... I had pink and whites last time I got my nails done, They put a tip on my nail. and then put acrylics on, it's like a pale pink base like color and a white tip, but it's not like a tan flesh color, like the nail itself, it's like a pink with a white tip... I think they look really cute, but thats me.....

It sounds like a french manicure. They out white acrylic on the tips, then pink on the bottom section.
