I am glad that people are starting to see what a phony the Oscar winning Al Gore is but he is only one of many. Most of the general public that follow them are not really phony people they are just being misled. I really wish that the people who consider themselves liberal would just do some independent research into the leaders of the various movements the liberal elite embrace.
How many liberal politicians rail about the rich? How many of them are the rich? What do they personally do about the perceived injustices?
How much energy is expended on one vacation jaunt by John Kerry? How about Ted Kennedy? How about the Clintons? John Roberts?
Now how much is expended by you? Yet you are always being blamed for every problem real or unreal that the crisis mill can produce.
If you have volunteered a single hour to a food kitchen or mentored a troubled youth or helped out at an old age home or went out of your way to help anyone else you have personally done more actual good for your fellow man and your country than all of these people put together.
Yet, many liberals hate rich conservatives. Rich conservatives are not blaming the average person for anything. The are not phoney. If they fly in private jets they fly in private jets. They don't try tp pretend they don't. If they drive SUV's they don't tell you not to.

Do what you want to do. You live in a free country! The fact of the matter is that humans are at some point going to use up all the natural resources of Earth... I don't know how long that will take, probably well after I'm dead. I believe that 'Global Warming' has been in affect since the end of the IceAge.. the icecaps came down to North America and have been melting ever since. Must have been the abundant number of animals emmitting butane from eating all the natural grasses we used to have under what are now concrete highways and stripmalls. We do need people raising the question on human trends... people just don't like to listen, so now people are trying the scare tactics in order to get peoples' attentions. It's marketing plain and simple. What's the best way to sell an idea?

I take it you don't have any kids. My question to you is why do you drive an SUV? Is it because you need it in winter or because it is an extension of your Johnson? I drive a bus.
BTW Gore has 20 rooms but he also has a staff of secret service men too. I think Gore should move into a 2 bedroom apartment to prove his point.
Does anyone know if there is a real scientist out there who doesn't believe in Global warming?

If you're rich enough to buy carbon credits you don't have to worry about causing global warming. It pays people to plant trees and do other enviro-friendly stuff. That's supposed to make up for the polluting lifestyle of the anti-pollution fanatics. The rich ones, I mean.

Al Gore is making a living speaking and making movies about the Global Warming issue.
He's a Capitalist for certain, but no idea whether or not he believes a word of his own hyperbole.
Either way, he's making quite a good living hyping the issue. Good for him, I'm a Capitalist too. I just don't lie about it.

Yep! All of them included couldn't put out a fire on a match stick!
Their brains are infected with an insidious mental disorder called the Chicken Little Syndrome. It makes them have paranoid delusions of imagined catastrophes. It induces mass panic about things that, even if real, nothing at all could fix. It makes them worry and rend their clothes over things that nothing can be done to stop, stall, or repair. They think that just thinking about something can protect them from evil, and that evil is all only in their minds.

You are going in the right direction in your question, but I don't see the Commie! Must be Gore is a Democrat. That, my friend, does not make him a commie!
Tell me, what are the rich RIGHT doing? Starting wars over oil? Gouging us at the pump and flying around in 747's? And making profits hand over fist after the Republicans gave the Oil Companies another large Tax break! What do they do as far as paying taxes? Pay from 4% to 8% of their profit's? PLEASE give me that sweet deal!
I think their are more on your side screwing you than those "Commie" Democrats!!

Whether they are hypocrites or not, what else are we to believe? Do you want to take the risk for your kids, and grand kids and on to live in a dirty, dying planet? They do sound like hypocrites, especially Gore's "concerts" around the country. How will they do that without using a lot of gas or stuff that pollutes the world. You don't necessarily have to cut off everything, just cut down. Communism means a gov't that rules in fear, and everyone is equal to each other, and makes the same money. No one is making you do anything.

Please do more research on the "internets" (as bush calls it) and don't just listen to Drudge and John Gibson. I bet you to look at both sides of this and make up your own mind. There is much more to the story. For just one item, Gore used only commercial airlines to fly all over the world to make his presentations. And he spent his own money. Do you recycle? Have you replaced old type light bulbs with new? Do you have a car that gets high miles per gallon?
We all live on this planet together, and I don't understand what the down side is to taking care of it and making sure our kids have clean air and clean water. What is the down side?
The right-wing is angry that Al Gore has won so much public attention, goodwill and an Oscar for his work on global warming and they're afraid he might run for president again. So they have started smearing.
Responding to Drudge’s attack, Vice President Gore’s office told ThinkProgress:
1) Gore’s family has taken numerous steps to reduce the carbon footprint of their private residence, including signing up for 100 percent green power through Green Power Switch, installing solar panels, and using compact fluorescent bulbs and other energy saving technology.
2) Gore has had a consistent position of purchasing carbon offsets to offset the family’s carbon footprint — a concept the right-wing fails to understand. Gore’s office explains:
What Mr. Gore has asked is that every family calculate their carbon footprint and try to reduce it as much as possible. Once they have done so, he then advocates that they purchase offsets, as the Gore’s do, to bring their footprint down to zero.

Just curious, Gore isn't even running for office, so why the right wing smear? Haven't you fools got anything better to address, like say the Bush nightmare that is Iraq? I mean seriously, get a life.
