Is Al-Sistani an infallible Imam?
Are either of them decendents of Ali?
Maybe this question should be asked under the religion category, but noone can deny the political implications of it.

arnon, You may enjoy the arrogance that your ignorance allows you, but please don't criticize someone who is attempting to understand. To a Shia Muslim, decendency from Ali is of the utmost importance. Infallible Imam is a title.

I think United States Must bring into Power A strong man from Army or Military Junta {WHICH I THINK THEY WILL DO VERY SOON},Both Sistani and Al Sadar are thugs along with this other guy who was the informer .And as soon as Junta is in place you will see these men take off like jack rabbits. They are not infallible but rather they are taking advantage of the situation.United States should have never allowed these guys to gain influence

Do you mean " Do I BELIEVE he is infallible" or "Is he infallible"
Oh well, the answer is "NO" to either.
Are they descendents of Ali?
Doesn't really matter if they are or aren't.
So if they are fallible and it does not matter who their ancestors are, then I am NoOne and I do hereby deny the political implications just as you describe.

The only male descendant of Ali is Muhammad Ali Jr, born in 1972. Not a terrorist as far as I know.
