for use in the store, like if they are out of one thing you call and see what else is good to bring home...I dont know, that bugs me to no end because they talk so loud...I can understand the convenience of it though.

They have good use for seeing what someone at home wants. Carrying on conversations is stupid though. You go to a grocery store to by groceries, not to convert with your best friend.

Yes I have used it. I've used it when people call and when I'm shopping for someone. It's much more convenient then driving back to ask, or stepping outside.

Some people talk loud because the other side is also loud.

Nope, I use mine to find people, I go in with friends and If I want to branch off on my own, I need to find my bros before they leave!
I don't stop and talk in the middle of the place, but I do say certain things loudly just to make people wonder. That's SO fun to do! Just be like, "John, why are you on the femenine hygine aisle?" or stuff like that. It's really fun.
But, I do hate when dumb people just stop and talk. They're not the only ones there!! I ESPECIALLY HATE when the real fattys walk right down the middle of the skinniest aisles! I'm skinny, but C'MON!!! There's barely 8 inches between each side!!

Why it would bother anyone is beyond me. It's not a library, nobody is trying to concentrate or hear the TV... it's a grocery store. It's noisy. That being said, I don't own a cell phone, let alone talk on one at the store.

WE need a whole new rules on ethics and cell phones. When I'm in the bookstore all I hear is chatter.

I make a list when I go to the grocery store. It hasn't failed me after 35 years.

I have before, but I can hardly ever keep reception. I know my mom will call every ten minutes while she's at the grocery store asking me and my dad if we wanted this that and the other thing. I know it annoys us, I'm sure it annoys the other people around us.

I use my phone in the grocery store all the time.
I don't like the loud phone talkers though, i try to keep it as low as possible.

I have... it's not like the library or a hospital or anything... I don't think I talk any louder than anyone else in the store when I'm on the cell...

Gosh, now, I'm gonna feel bad using it... I'm sorry.
