I would bring troops from all over the world home, pardon everyone for a victimless crime such as drugs, tax evasion, and gun possesion. Then I would eliminate all programs not specifically authorized in the Constitution and the government would be so small that there would be no need for an IRS to exist.

When I mean abolish programs that are not authorized in the Constitution, I include, the ATF, Social Security, Selective Service, DEA, FBI, and CIA.

I would faithfully execute the office of the President and I would protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.

I would realize that I am limited in what I can and cannot do.

Once American Troops are committed and in harms way I would do whatever it takes to support them and ensure they are victorious.

I would not sit around and wait for public opinion poles to tell me what to do. I would lead because that is what I was hired to do.

I would appoint only strict constructionist judges. I would get all the advice I could from all the best minds in the business before making important decisions. But the decision would be mine. I would own it.

I would make absolutely sure that there was no "wall" preventing various law enforcement and intelligence agency's from sharing information about international and domestic terrorists. I would make sure all departments play well together. Anyone who leaks classified information would be prosecuted to the fullest and I mean fullest extent of the law.

I would first see to it that the borders were secured however necessary. All illegal aliens would have one year to either leave the country or register as an illegal alien. All illegal aliens who seek citizenship would be placed on the list behind the last persons name on it by a given date. If they wished to stay they would have to plead guilty to immigration violations and pay the cost of processing them which includes background checks. If they are found unsuitable they cannot appeal they will be deported ASAP. Those whose only violation is the immigration law will be placed on probation until they are finally granted citizenship.

Those who do not seek citizenship but only seek employment will be granted guest worker status and will be held to account to all the terms of the guest worker agreement. The guest worker status may be revoked at any time for cause.

No action to be taken in relation to global warming until and unless hard scientific proof is presented and peer reviewed. All universities that receive federal grant money that are found to provide false data or testimony will have all federal funding cut off and those responsible will be prosecuted under current perjury laws. The federal government will be forbidden to enact any legislation based on any scientific research unless those responsible for said research testify under oath as to it's voracity. No more policy based on junk science.

**Just to touch on a few things.

And soon we would be taken over by any country that had a mind too! Drugs are not victimless, they promote robbery, violence. Tax evasion allows people to skate by not paying while others like myself wind up paying for their Soc. Sec. forget that!Gun posses ion by Felons is pure stupidity because they had to break a law to get one! The Constitution does not authorize programs, it gives us the right to speak out on what we want and the right to come together to accomplish it!

I would have pelosi, murtha, and the owner of the NY times arrested for treason.

I would ask for 100 seal team/spec ops members to volunteer
to go on a world wide mission to assassinate terrorist leaders.
Head of Hamas, is a good start. Then Iran. These guys would
be Top Secret, paid well 100 times their income now.

Sort of like the movie Munich. But they would have better Intel and materials to work with.

For once even bin lying would go to bed scared that he may not wake up. I say bin lying on purpose.

Liberals will feel this is terrible..but the alternative would be fanatical islamo fascists taking over and hanging infidels or their families hung or throats cut or a burka on their head.

I would expect the countries to pay for the cost of our troops in their country. I would not bring them home, we built and paid for those bases. Need them to stage my 100 man Seal team.
I would perhaps bring 20 percent home and build 5 bases on our border with mexico.

Instead of a fence, I would have a mine field to keep illegals out.
I would have all illegals deported that broke the laws. The 25 pct in our prison would be sent back immediately. Why should we pay for their room and board. Let mexico pay for it.
That's a good start.

Like you, I would bring all troops home where they belong. Let those people take care of their own country! Then I would make sure all AMERICANS are taken care of first, i.e., feeding, clothing, educating, and sheltering our homeless people. It is a disgusting that we spend so much money over the war when we have millions of Americans starving!!!! It has never made sense to me. I know this will sound heartless, but I really don't care what happens over there, I only worry about why Americans seem to come in last place when it comes to needing help!!!
Where are our priorities?

In other words, you would uphold the Constitution, which is the reason we have presidents at all.

I would do pretty much the same thing. But I would also, completely shut down the borders and send whoever came here illagally home until they entered the system they way they should have in the first place, no exceptions.

You are talking about king, not president. The president can't overturn the thousands of laws passed by congress - there is no authority in the constitution you love for that kind of power. In fact the constitution has safeguards AGAINST that kind of power.

I would age at least 5 years for each year in office. Look how the job ages these men. Good God, Clinton is a shadow of himself and he should be partying all the time since he doesn't have to live with Hellary anymore.

As for living with her if she wins in 2008, I doubt it. She will dump him luck extra baggage.

I'd raid the liqueur cabinet, smoke a fatty in the oval office, end the war. then jump off the capital dome before the power went to my head and I became just like the rest of the politician slime.
