well, they do have big differences:

eyeglass: they have a frame and you wear them around almost everyday & most people wearing eyeglasses usually gets more blurred every year.

contact lens: need special training[it took me 25 hours to train:D]. there are actually 2 kinds: soft and hard lens. most people start with hard lens. the one you wear in daylight or when you are wake usually keeps your eye degrees[or vision blurr] from going up. the one where you wear in nightime[some people cannot wear this] is more expensive but it helps you ALOT. for most people, it actually makes your vision better. i have the night one and i take it off in the morning. it may take time. once i take it off, i can see perfectly well. if you get contact, WASH IT WELL.

soo, some people cannot wear contact lens. its better for your eyes to get contact lens, but it may be much more expensive than eyeglasses. but contact lens work for me and my friends. if you get contact lens, dont be scared. it may hurt on the first time you wear it. but the next day [for me], it felt like nothing and it was very comfy. you may want to ask your eye doctor which is better for your eyes according to your vision blurriness and everything. your eyes are very important~choose wisely!HOPE THIS HELPS:D

heres you goes :D

Glasses:
Pros: You can take them off whenever you want easily, and usually a pair lasts a long time. There are lots of styles to choose from.
Cons: Some people don't like the look of glasses on their faces, and glasses can sometimes be a burden (you need to carry them around if not wearing them, it's easier to lose them, if they fall off they could break, etc.)

Contacts:
Pros: They don't fall off easily, they come in different colors so if you want to change your eye color it's pretty cool, it's as though you're not wearing anything on your eyes but suddenly you can see better, no one will know that your eyesight is imperfect.
Cons: Contacts tend to be more expensive, most contacts are either two week or one month disposables, there is a chance of your contact falling out if you rub your eye or something, it's very inconvenient to take out and put back in.

I wear contacts, but I would suggest you to wear contacts and have a spare pair of glasses just in case. That way, if you feel like wearing glasses one day, you can, and if you feel like wearing contacts instead, you can too!

I have both but I prefer my contacts. Some of the cons of contacts is that you can drop them and lose them very easily, if you get soft ones you can tear them. There are many different types of contacts out there, it is important to get them from your eyedoctor (there was a big scam about fake contacts a little while ago in texas that caused some people to damage their retina's and I think one person even went blind) There are the type of contacts where you only buy one pair, and you have to clean them in contact cleaner overnight. There are the daily throw away kind where you take them out at night and then you throw them away. And there is extended wear contacts that you can leave in for up to 30 days and then throw away. Those are the kinda I wear and I love them, but there are added risks with extended wear contacts that you should talk about with your eyedoctor. You also want to make sure that you buy some contact eye drops in the beginning because your eyes will be really sensitive and dry after you begin wearing them. Also if you have astigmitism (not sure how to spell that they usually perscribe hard, or gas permeable contacts, which have their own type of problems. My friend had gas permeable ones that kept getting stuck under her eyelid. But I do recomend getting glasses as well if you can afford it. So that way on days when your eyes are irritated you have a back up way to see clearly. Make sure to get scratch resistant lenses, and check with the place you get your glasses to see if there is any type of warrenty if you break your frames. The first day I had glasses I scratched both lenses, when I tried to clean them with a rough paper towel. I guess the best way to choose would to be to ask your self a few questions. Are you good at keeping things really clean? Because contacts go directly onto your eye and if you know that you don't keep things clean then don't get them. Because you could put all sorts of bacteria in your eye. And the second question would be are you comfortable with the idea of having to put your finger really close to your eye? Good luck I hope that at least some of that was helpful to you.

Both!! I wear contacts during the day and glasses at night because contacts tend to dry out over a long period of time during the day.
Glasses, you don't have to do much but put it on and clean it. It's hard to do your make up because you can't see and when you're in the shower you can't either. A lot cheaper then contacts though.
Contacts, depending on which one you get, soft lens are better but you have to clean it, buy the solution, have the case, and time to put it in and take it out. Whats a hassle is that they can tear and rip easily if youre not gentle. They cost more but i think its worth it. You can also wear colored ones too!
Honestly, get both though. Glasses as a back up b/c if you go on a trip and forget to bring more contacts, you can't go anywhere else to buy any because they will refuse to sell it to you and think about if it ripped, it is very painful and you can't see out of them, they're going to be useless, so you'll have the glasses as a back up. [ Personal experience and it was awful]
If you have time get contacts , or if you do you make up and etc.
If your very busy and just need something simple, get glasses.
But think about if there was a fire or so and you're rushing to get out of the house, you'll have no time to put on your contacts [ you can't sleep with them on] so you'll be left not able to see as clearly, but if you we're to have glasses you can grab it , put it on and run out.

I read the other responses and i don't agree to them, contacts aren't a hassle once you get used to them you'll think they're the best things ever invented. You can't even feel it and its once in a blue moon that you'll ever tear it, the only time you'll ahve trouble is way in the beginning, once you get a haind of it, it takes like a second to put it on and you can even take it off without looking in a mirror [ when you get better at it ]

*** i don't recommend you get hard lenses even though people say it helps your eye sight and what not. Every story i heard and how painful it is doesn't seem worth it at all. I would never dare to try it.
I hoped i helped you and i honestly think you should get both.

i wear both. contacts are great because i look nerdy with glasses and i don't like the nerdy look. you get used to them after a few days and they are pretty affordable unless you have astigmatism, then they will be a little more expensive. soft contacts are the cheapest and most comfortable. glasses are great on the days that i have to be to work early and i'm wearing my contacts from 5 in the morning. by the time 7pm rolls around, my eyes get irritated from having the contacts in them for so long just because i have sensitive eyes and i pop them out and put on the glasses to lounge around in. and there are days that i feel nerdy and wear glasses :)

Contacts are suchh a pain because they are so fragile. If you take them out and hold them the wrong way, you'll get a fold in them or they'll tear. I go through tons of boxes a year because of it. Personally, I can see better out of my glasses, but contacts are more of a convenience. Lately, I've tended to just wear contacts all the time without taking them out. Probably not good, but ehhh. You can always try the contacts for awhile and go back if they don't work...

ok i wear contacts and i dont even notice their there but the bad part is u have to be responsible with them especially if u have 2-week or 30-day plus theres buying solution, a case, the trial, and of course the contacts themselves.glasses get annoying so id just go with contacts trust me there much easier and better
