Everyone, please tell me what your favourite Stephen King books are. Also, is the book by him, "Nightmares and Dreamscapes" a good book??

Nightmares and Dreamscapes is AWESOME!!
My favorite King books are "Carrie," "Firestarter," "Dreamcatcher," "The Stand (uncut version)," and "Hearts in Atlantis."

My favorite is the final book in the Dark Tower series. As for his other works I love The Shining, The Dead Zone and The Stand.
His early novels are best. Also loved The Green Mile. I have read
a few of the stories in Nightmares and Dreamscapes and I don't
think they are his best work. They are not as good as Night Shift
or Everything's Eventual.

I honestly don't think I have one favorite. I enjoy all of his books so much and have re-read all of them many times. I think it'd be safe to say The Stand, The Shining, and Pet Cemetary are at the top of my list.
Nightmares and Dreamscapes is an awesome book. If you're not familiar w. his work, I think short stories are a good introduction and there are some really good ones in N and D.

If you haven't read The Dark Tower series I highly recommend it, it is some of the best fiction I've ever read. Nightmares and Dreamscapes is also good, as well as the Stand.

My favorite is Desperation. I have never read Nightmares and dreamscapes, but a collection of short stories is always good when you want to read a whole story and don't want to take forever to know the end.

The Dark Tower series is my personal favorite, my favorite short story is "The Mist." I could read it over and over again. Nightmare and Dreamscapes is an excellent book, I highly recommend it.

My favorite is Christine (my opinion is biased though I'm from Pittsburgh and my dad used to work at the airport in the story.) The other books I love are Firestarter, Carrie, Pet Sematary. Cell was OK until the end it was disappointing.
Its sad that his movies aren't as good as his books though, they butchered Christine, i didn't like Carrie, Carrie 2 was surprisingly good though, and pet sematary 2 was just a bloodfest. Although I am looking forward to seeing his new movie 1408, I just wish I could figure out what book its from!

I would say it's "IT" and "Pet Semetary", i have the title "Nightmares and Dreamscapes" too, it's a compilation of abt 23 short stories.
