Well, i would download a video and use some clips, but the music from the original vid is still on the clip and over lapping my music. Is there anyway to 'strip' the other audio from a clip? If there isnt, any suggetions on what im to do?

I know for SURE that you can bind and unbind the audio and video data apart and back together again, but, like N K has already pointed out, it depends largely on the software you use to do this. It also depends on the type of video file you're trying to work with.

The one software that I have personally used with a great measure of success is called SoundForge by Sony (formerly a Sonic Foundry product). It is a pro-grade tool that will undoubtedly do the job. However, it is rather spendy, and not worth buying, if all you're doing is a few home projects. They have lower grade programs also, which are very similar to SoundForge. And while they are much cheaper, you would have to first read up on their features, to see if they can treat the particular type of file you will be working with.

Depends on the video editing program you are using. Some allow you to decrease or mute the sound of the video file. Try going under the properties you have on the program you are using and see if there is an option on the sound of the video.

But most of all i would suggest downloading raw versions of anime or just the full episode of the anime and create the video from there because that's how it's suppose to be made and that's quite rude to the makers of those videos to have someone taking their footage and using it for their own unless you got permission.
