That sounds like me with my last pregnancy. Exactly 3 cm and stripped membranes at 39 weeks, but i carried to 40 weeks and 6 days (eye roll) and had a ten pound baby. Good luck, i hope you don't have much longer!

Get those bags packed. Some women can go a few weeks after losing the mucus plug, but considering that you're 39 weeks and had your membranes stripped, I'd say you're going to go soon. Sleep with a towel under you in case your water breaks tonight! Good luck! Woo hoo!

It is different with everyone, but I went that night after my doctor stripped my membranes and I was only at a one at the time. Congrats and good luck trying to get rest, but try.

You need to deliver your baby within 24 hours of stripping membranes or there is a risk of infection.

It all depends on how YOUR body labors. On December 13th I was 4cm, contracting every 2 minutes, and started losing my mucous plug. I CONTINUED that until Dec 23....when my water finally broke. I hope for your sake that your labor goes faster than that! LOL

Not much longer!

No one can give you a definite time frame, but I sincerely hope that you have the bags packed and that the nursery is ready, because you'll be having that baby VERY soon.

Get some rest tonight!

i have never heard of them not keeping someone that is at 3 cm you should call labor and delivery because ive been told by many dr.s that you have to be having steady contractions or be 3 cm to be admitted into a room
