The first thing you need to know is that on men razor bumps are generally caused by shaving too close. Yes, your lady likes you smooth but when you shave too close the hair actually curls back under and the resulting bump is the hair under the skin and infections caused by irritation. If your condition is very bad, you need to stop shaving and grow a beard for a little while. The military even allows men with this problem to maintain a short 1/2 inch beard until the problem clears up. After it's clears up resume shaving but not quite so close.

Make sure when you are shaving shave in one direction down. There is a shaving cream called bump be gone that my husband uses he use to have bumps bad. I took some face scrub and washed his face the used the shaving cream on his face and shaved downward each time his face is a lot better know.
