well, you see.. i've been crushing on this guy for a month now. he was my classmate last school year and now he's my dancing partner in PE. he's very good-looking, nice and i must say, he's a smarty assed kinda guy. he's totally perfect! i mean besides his good looks, he's also smart! so there... i like him but i don't think he likes me too. he's kinda shy... you know. uhm... a lot of girls flirt him but he doesn't give a damn that much. how can i get him to like me?

I don't know if he will take the bait or not but what I used to do in situations like that is come up with some group activity thing you can invite him too outside of school. My friends and I started a movie group, and we would invite the guys we liked to come to the movies, and hang out at this neat little coffee shop. But if you make it a group thing it sounds less like you like him. Since he is your dance partner you could talk about how you and your friends are excited because some movie is coming out and you all are all going to go and see it. Make it sound like you just want to go to the event...Then pause a second make it look like you feel that you are being rude, and then tell him that he can come along too if he wants to. This will make you sound intriguing because it shows that you and your friends go out and have fun, and it is less pressure then a date. Another idea that works is something that involves competition like minature golf or bowling. Because not only is there competition in the game but adding competition by playing some video games helps to lighten the mood. If he doesn't take the first bait then keep trying, oftentimes friendships lead to more, so it might take longer, but you might win him that way.

Introduce the young man to the world of dirty dancing/grinding.
You should be able to feel for yourself how much he loves being your dance partner. ;)

im not an expert at all but my guess is that hes gay, i mean, are all boys in P.E taking dance and if a bunch of girls are throwing themselves at him and hes not doing anything, then theres something wrong

Stay cool, do not be as available as the crowd. Shine in your own way, keep true to your own style. Stay his friend and don't be quick to jump if he asks.................be cool, stay cool and possibly you will get the prize.
