so after ww1 we were trying to recover and support america once again and then ww2 comes about, if ww2 didnt come how could thsi affect usa today?

If America did not join WW2, I dought we would even still be America. Hitler had submarines in New York Harbor ready to attack us. There were 3 forces at work, all who declared that they were going to take over the world. These included Germany, Japan, and
Italy. If America just stood by and let them duke it our to see who would take over the world then you and I would either be speaking Japanese, German or Italian. And some of us would not even be here.

But post war production stayed high which caused a glut of goods over production, and speculation among other things led to the great depression. Without WW2 the depression would have taken longer to end. but the US might have stayed more isolationist and it's hard to say but I doubt we would be where we are today in terms of the American Empire. But we would be more popular world wide maybe.
